Your Home Office probably has electric pencil sharpeners. If so, do you have a real reason for that?

We all think or hear reasons like the ones above. However, maybe - just maybe, these are excuses and not reasons.

Let us compare:

1.) A large volume of pencils are sharpened every day... During "times of old" (not that long ago) a Mechanical Sharpener was used in Corporate America, schools, and homes. A large volume of pencils were sharpened in Accounting Firms, Schools, and this wasn't a problem. Now when we look at sharpening one, two, or three pencils the mechanical is just as fast as the electric when learning curves are factored into the equation.

3.) Electric pencil sharpeners look better and go with the decor. True for many, but not all. Besides you can always mount a mechanical sharpener on a wall inside a closet or get the models that have a rubber suction base that allows the sharpener to mount on any desk, anywhere!
