March 17, 2010: The Seattle Times has reported on the planning for America's Greenest Building to date.

At EHW we recognize many so called "GREEN" buildings in our nation, but as we have been saying for years: "At best they are a shade of green." Yes, these buildings are eco-friendly, but only because they met some LEED requirements or addressed some energy saving steps. We have yet to see all areas fully addressed in order to be a "true green zero footprint" structure. This new HQ for Bullitt Foundation may come very close as it plans to use solar and rainwater from the roof to be almost entirely off-grid.
