BENEFITS OF WATER
If one does not concieve the importance of water, then one will abuse and waste water.
Our children today learn or don't learn about how essential water is to life
from many different sources: Will they see and learn from a running stream in the woods or will they watch gallons of water pour onto the hot blacktop of a city street from the corner fire hydrant that was opened by kids trying to cool off in the summer?
You would think a child's own thirst is foremost in helping them to appreciate the importance of water. Unfortunately, all the flavored drinks they have to choose from disguises the fact that water is the main ingredient. They may also be watching cartoons such as "Avatar: The Last
Airbender" were ancient civilizations use water to heal. In addition, kids and adults hear reports about water that may be true, slightly true, or just a Myth or Hoax. At one time or another we heard that eight glasses of clean water a day contributes to better energy levels, metal performance, skin appearance, losing weight, less stress, less anxiety, less headaches, less dizzy spells, better digestion, better oxygen levels, helps the body to excrete toxins, helps joints, helps body temperature and may even help the immune system perform better. So what do we believe. First realize water is essential and should be appreciated. In fact, one of the rules for survival is about water:
They are called the rules of three (3), so if you find yourself in a situation for survival, you can set priorities by knowing these rules. Ask yourself:
What do I need in about three (3) minutes to survive? AIR
What do I need in about three (3) hours to survive? SHELTER
What do I need in about three (3) days to survive? WATER
What do I need in about three (3) weeks to survive? FOOD
WATER is third on the list, without water for three days, the body is not going to survive much longer.
